Our TOP SALES OFFER in June 2025: A recently decommissioned, 75 MW TPP unit, coal-fired, with a replaced SIEMENS machine from Western Europe, suitable for a 50 Hz grid in Asia or Africa, in excellent condition and perfectly preserved

[June 2025] This offer comprises a complete coal-fired power plant unit. You are now asking yourself for which coal? The answer is simple: For almost all types! Thanks to fluidised bed technology, the boiler can burn a very wide range of coal, from lignite to hard coal. The only precondition: The coal must be fed in as dried granulate.

This entire power station was decommissioned in April 2025 and then fully preserved. A purchase with subsequent dismantling is possible from this summer on.

The finely ground coal granulate must not be coarser than 3 mm, with a residual moisture content of only 8 to 12 %. This means that the high flexibility in fuel quality is achieved by prior preparation of this fuel. The rest is done by the 300 t/h circulating fluidised bed boiler, with a steam output temperature of 520 degrees.

This plant from 1989 is still in extremely good overall condition. In addition, the entire power train including the condenser was replaced in 2010. Now, the unit with a net output of 75 MWe has a twin turbine from Siemens and the 104 MVA generator with an output voltage of 10.5 kV is from Siemens, too. The 55 MW SST-800 turbine from Siemens acts as the high- and medium-pressure steam turbine; this ST could theoretically also be operated as a backpressure turbine; the 30 MW SST-500, also from Siemens, forms the low-pressure part of the machine is connected to the downstream condenser. With a steam tapping of 11 or 4 bar, this machine is an extraction condensing type turbine.

Otherwise, all pumps, blowers and ancillary equipment are included in the sale and can also be purchased individually. The seller’s purchase price expectation is 4.7 million Euros.

If you are interested in this 75 MW coal block, please send us a message stating the ID no. PPO-162. The more recent turbine-generator set built in 2010 is available separately under the ID no. PPO-165.
