[Oct. 2025] This offer (with the ID number PPO-187) comprises three unused turbomachinery units with a capacity of approx. 12 MW each, which a German based industrial service provider acquired from an unrealised project in South America some years ago.

These sets were originally intended for internal follow-up projects, but the company is no longer pursuing these due to fundamental corporate restructuring. Therefore, now in 2025, this company opted for selling them to suitable projects or other interested buyers.

These high-quality industrial power generation sets were manufactured by Dresser-Rand (now Siemens Energy) and are ideal for use in small to medium-sized power plant projects – both for public energy suppliers (utilities) and independent power producers (IPPs).

The sets are complete including the condensers and have been designed for 60 Hz, but can simply be adjusted for 50 Hz by replacing the gearboxes and clutches.

Since 2009, these unused turbomachinery units have been professionally preserved in a warehouse in Western Europe and are in good condition. A generator test in April 2018 confirmed that these sets are still working perfectly.
Each of these sets is now available for immediate sale – in ready to ship packaging, ex warehouse at an oversea’ s harbour, at a negotiable price of USD 945,000 each.

Purchasing these sets provides significant cost advantages over new equipment (with current new price of approx. USD 5 to 7 million per unit) and enables rapid project implementation. In addition, a new warranty can be purchased from the manufacturer for a reasonable additional charge.
